La Jolla, San Diego

Happy 2007 to everyone! May the new year shower us with so much more blessings, happiness, good health, money and world peace! :-p

Never prepared a New Year's Resolution list and I'm not gonna start now, hehe...any of you prepares and follows the resolution list?

I know what I want for 2007...happiness, colorful marriage, good health for everyone and earn more money...to save and to spend (I'm just being honest). Oh, also perhaps to get pregnant before the year ends. :-p

I hope the business plan that Jenz and I are planning will push thru.

Anyway, let's go back to my subject...we drove to La Jolla, San Diego this morning. It was a pleasant trip. La Jolla, they say is San Diego's Beverly Hills, while there, we saw two Bentley convertibles, lots of Mercedes and BMWs, and of course, Ferraris. But compared to the Bentley, the rest are nothing, it's just super gorgeous! Ok, got sidetracked...

We went down the La Jolla Beach/Cove and with their cold weather, there are people swimming! I can't even imagine myself stripping down to my bathing suit, worse get in the water. Bbbbrrrrrr. Took lots of photos...got some uploading to do when we get back :-.

After walking around the area, we had lunch at George's. It's a fantastic restaurant with a super view of the ocean.

Dad-in-law and I had Penne Pasta with Lamb (mine had to be returned coz I found a piece of hair in the sauce :-( ), Steve had Angus Beef Hamburger with Bleu Cheese, mom-in-law had their Steak Sandwich. All were great. If you guys are in the area, better try this place.

I was feeling home sick this morning (New Year's eve in Manila), first time that I didn't spend the eve with my family...:-(

Later tonight, all four of us are heading to Renaissance Hollywood Hotel for the D.A.S.K. Productions' New Year's Eve Ball 2007. It's my first time to go to something like this...I asked Steve to look for something like this coz I know that most people in the US doesn't really spend the eve like us in the Philippines and I don't want my first New Year's Eve away from family to be spent in bed, sleeping. Thank God Steve found something and gave in to my request.

Time to get off now, again, Happy 2007!!!
