Yesterday was declared a non-working holiday in the country in observance of the end of Ramadan period and it was a relaxing day for me.
Although I ended up sleeping at almost 5am arranging and printing the invitations for my parents' friends, I woke up early enough for my Diamond Peel appointment. Skin's as smooth as a baby's butt again, hahaha :)
After the session, headed straight to the airport to pickup Steve. Thought I wouldn't make it on time but ended up driving around several times before he showed up.
We had a late lunch at Tsumura before heading to his place. I had their Beef Terriyaki Set Meal, so so so yummy!! And super worth it...it was like Php650 and comes with Japanese Salad, two appetizers, steamed egg, rice, miso soup, the main course and fresh fruits. Tsumura never disappointed me.
Steve on the other hand had the Tamago-Unagi dish, also yummy but I liked it more the first few times we had it. Tamaga overload? Probably not coz I love Tamago...it's still good anyway.
After that, we had to go to the church for a "test" before he gets baptized. Powerplant after that where he ended up buying a white button down, chinese collar shirt from Zara, he looked good as always.
Then to the ladies' section, I was hoping I can find a formal dress and I did! It's a short dress but the material of the dress made up for its shortage in length, hehe :) Walked around for a little bit then Kulinarya for dinner.
Steve ordered their Vegetable Gratin soup and Warm Spinach Salad. I had their Exotic Mushroom soup and Calamari and Papaya Salad. I didn't like my salad, I don't like the dressing. The Warm Spinach Salad on the other hand is excellent. Sounds like we're both on a diet eh? ahhahaah Well, we each had a scoop of FIC ice cream for dessert:)
