35 Days...

...and counting til the big day! I'm now experiencing pressure together with excitement. Pressure over stuffs that we have to buy, stuffs needs to be finished, deadlines to meet. Thank God we've already settled on our wedding rings. Also, decided on the dining chairs we want. Lifted a lot of weight off my shoulders.

You guys should check out EDIA (or something), it's almost like Bo but cheaper, a lot cheaper actually. Imagine a King Size bed frame for only 16K?? It's not overly pretty but for its price, it definitely is. We're still scouting for other beds, kinda leaning towards a cushioned headboard but if can't find any, I think we'll get our bed from here as well.

We're getting our dining chairs from this place already, perfect match for the dining table that we got from Home Depot. Wood and leather for less than 4K! Isn't that wonderful? I know it is, hehe :)

EDIA is located in Cyberzone of SM Mega Mall, Level 4.

I've also attached chinese buttons to more than half of our invitations already. This is my labor of love, hehe, I "glue gun" each button to each invitation. And love how it looks, made the invitations so classy and elegant. Hopefully I get to finish everything so I can move on to other things.

House is almost done as well. Ready to move the stuffs soon.

Wow, everything's really happening huh? Am not dreaming or anything eh? Hehe.

My mom helps a lot in everything! She's busy with the house and the Chinese traditions and stuffs needed for the wedding day itself. I hope she knows that I am truly grateful for everything.

Oh, bummer, found out today that the air fare rate for Guam to San Jose or SFO is as pricey as a round trip ticket from Manila to SFO. :( And I forgot that PAL's stopover in Guam is from SFO to Manila, not the other way around. So there will be changes in our plans...and IF we can still get seats. We might be spending New Year there instead of Christmas. PAL's rate for December 24 and 25 departure is less than $700! Cheap huh?? Leaving on the 25th isn't so bad anyway. Problem is the flight back, I can only imagine how difficult it is to book a flight back. Oh well, we'll see, maybe we'll jsut stick to Guam.

Ha, my evil boss talked to me coz he doesn't have a choice, my superior isn't around and he's got an instruction, hehehe. Agh, how I hate my boss!

The Verdict

I definitely lost weight already, wahooo! The cleavage has significantly downsized! hehe :) Won't hurt to lose a couple of pounds more, and stick to my twice a week workout, haha :)

I've decided to have tuna and wheat a meal or two a day and will have real food once a day.

Able to appreciate the gown last night, and I will sound self-absorbed but I loved how I look (well, who else will if I don't start loving myself first, hehe). My hair was down too and it wasn't that bad, looks like I will just be attending my 18th birthday (HAH, I wish!! hahahaha), but yeah, hair down wasn't too too bad, looks innocent and lady-like. Hmmm...hair up or hair down? We'll see... :-)

Didn't even get to print one envelope last night, forgot that I have to be at work by 7am today, so will again try doing it later.

I'm sleepy and bored...wish it's almost 5pm already!

43 Days and Counting

If anyone has read the post that I deleted earlier...well, let's just say I kinda have my answer already.

So, yes, that's the number of days left before I finally say goodbye to singlehood and I'm looking forward to it! I can't exactly say that it's the same with guys, particularly my hub, but I hope he is! *evil grin*

I can't believe how fast time flies, I can still clearly remember the day Steve proposed. The time we started looking for "good" date, the time I called up hotels and other possible venues for reception, suppliers considered, meetings attended, etc. And now, we only have a little more than a month left! :-)

I wish I have more time to finish everything and attend the meetings that I have to go to, but obviously I can't, my boss will kill me if I keep on skipping work. Skipping classes is not an option, missing a session is really a big deal.

I have so much stuffs to do that I'm sure there are quite a few things that I keep forgetting...but right now, what keeps me busy is the invitation. Could have just used the exact invite that we paid for, but no, I came up with this brilliant idea of putting a chinese button on it instead, so now I have to "glue gun" each pair of buttons on every invite! Worth it though, it adds so much character to our invite! Love it!

Aside from the buttons, gotta print the names on the envelopes too. I hope the printer I bought will finally accept and work smoothly with the envelopes and stop "eating" them...ehe :-) Now, I wil need help with this, unless I get a day or two days off from work, hehe. Reason for leave: To print names on the envelope. Lovely! :-p

Hmmm it's only the invitations that requires my time and labor of love...hehe ;-)

Ohhhh, Steve had his tux fitting earlier! And boy was I right, he looks dashing and lovely! One problem though, he can no longer gain weight!! Bwahahahha Randy actually had to loosen the coat from waist to hips, hahahaha. But the tux really looks so nice on Steve and the cut made him look slim and taller.

Verdict for my gown will be tomorrow, I'm set for a fitting tomorrow night, agh, I hope the cleavage on my back is finally gone! Otherwise, more tuna and wheat bread for me! :-( I'm actually getting sick of tuna already so am having tuna omelet with loads of ketchup! hahaha and Coke Light! :-) Cross your fingers for me please!

Other stuffs are sort of in order already, all bookings have been finalized.

I hope everything runs smoothly and perfectly from here on.

Nite nite everyone! Time to get ready for bed!

Hey Steve, I love you!
