Continuation from my BKK Album :)
2nd day, we had to get up as early as 530am for our 730am City tour. Such a pain, I was already contemplating on skipping out on the tour. I'm glad I didn't it was a short but fun tour.
Went to a Canal Cruise, visited a temple, went to Gem factory. And Grand Palace where we got stuck for a little while because it rained heavily. We were unprepared...have to wait for Marj's and Joe's photos for the proof. :)
Our prof is also arriving on the same day, so we had to rush back to the city to meet up. Peter (Ces' friend) met us outside Grand Palace and brought us to Chilli something at Siam for lunch. It was good lunch, and pretty big lunch too.
Anyway, after our late lunch, we all went to the film market to check out the exhibit. I stalked on Orlando Bloom BKK version and in the end, we were able to take photo with him. :)
Watched Kubrador there, harhar, yes Tagalog movie in Thailand, haha.
Dinner was in a Korean Restaurant in Cowboy something town. It was good, I had three servings of Bibimbap. hehe. And love their grilled beefs as well. Yum!
Then we all went to a spa for foot massage. Heaven!! Got a 90-minute oil and herbal ball foot massage. I fell asleep in 10 minutes. Pure bliss. Have to go back there for a full body massage. Next time. :)
Third day was shopping day!! Yey!!! No need to explain more. :-D
Fourth day, while they all went for last minute shopping, I stayed in the hotel and slept as long as I can. Even skipped breakfast just so I can sleep longer, haha. Flight back to Manila was at 150pm, so we were picked up from the hotel at 1130am.
I got upgraded!! Weeh. Steve asked me when I got back: "So, did you get yourself upgraded?" Err..no? :-p
After the usual stuffs in the airport, we had few minutes to spare to walk around the airport. I didn't get anything for Steve and I feel bad for it, so I went around hoping I can find something for him. I failed. Didn't get him anything on this trip. I on the other hand, with no intention at all, got myself a bag!!! Woot!!
I already checked out Chanel at Siam and didn't see anything I like, the items they have there didn't give me heart palpitations...hehe. Different story at the airport, within 5 minutes, I've made myself poorer. Had to decide which bag to get, hand the credit card and sign. The packing took longer than my decision making and signing. Had to tell the SA, "Can you please check, my flight's boarding already."
Do I have to tell you how wonderful this trip is? :-D
