Home Alone and More

Been home alone since Wednesday night and it's awfully quiet in the house. Steve's in Korea for a business trip and won't be back until tonight. Surprisingly, I slept pretty well. I miss Steve though, it's so different without him at home...imagine having the whole house to yourself. Silence is truly deafening.

I was tempted to go back to our house to sleep there for two nights, but my laziness stopped me from doing that, I just don't want to pack my stuffs that I need for work. And my parents and brothers won't be home until past midnight.

Anyway, he's coming back tonight...so no more lonely nights for me. :-)

I'm completely done with my Holiday shopping already! Finished them all last week. I am so proud of my good finds!

Got Ferragamo stuffs for Steve (which he isn't really happy about and bummed the hell out of me), our parents and his grandma. Really awesome finds...I even end up getting a shirt for myself! Hihihi.

Thanks to the anual Christmas Bazaar at the World Trade Center, I was able to find gifts for everyone from there. Swish wallets for my cousins, shirts for the little boys, dresses for the little girls, sandals and bags for secretaries and officemates, shoes for grandmas. And guess what? I got myself a white Ann Taylor Trench Coat for like Php 2,000! I'm sure they're selling it in the US for at least $60!

OOOOOHHHHHHHHHH Monday is finally my last day at work!!! Will be on a mandatory leave from the 19th until the end of the year and then I'll be on a one-year study leave starting January..that is if it gets approved! *fingers crossed*

I'm using my officemate's PC since I still don't have LAN connection in my work station...and also still no phone line! Major bummer, but at least I only have to endure it for 1.5 days more.

I think and I hope (with fingers crossed) that Steve will get me the LV Damier Azur Speedy 30. He said he will...I hope he doens't forget that...hahahaha.

Can't wait for our US trip, all the after Christmas sales!!!! Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooot!!!

But...this will also be the first time that I won't be spending the holidays with my family...first time in my 25 years of existence! It has always been a tradition and unwritten rule to always be around for the Noche Buena (New Year's Eve dinner)...and this is my first time away from them and away from the country. :-(

Hi....I feel guilty but I really like it when my husband goes to visit his mother in NY. I love doing my own thing...eating Rice Chex for dinner if I wish; not having the TV on; sleeping diagonally on the bed. I miss him but I enjoy the home alone time. :)
