As Pink As It Gets

"Before the bouquet is thrown, there comes the PINK party...As Pink As It Gets".

That was what the invitation said for the shower party thrown by Shai and my friends last night at Astoria Plaza Hotel.

It was really a fun night and had a blast! Despite some boo boos, I was still surprised when I saw all my friends. I knew something's up but I didn't put too much thought on it because I want to be surprised. Everyone's working together behind my back! Including my mom who prepared my overnight stuffs without me knowing including my socks (I always sleep wearing socks)! My brothers who were originally tasked to drive me there. To Steve who was to make sure that I leave the date open.

Shai was the mastermind and did a truly wonderful job! Thank you, girl! Like what I told you earlier, I could never think of a shower any better than that! I love you!

And to all my friends who showed up, I really appreciate it.

All my former officemates and bosses from my previous department were there!! I was super surprised when I saw all of them! Mam Sion, Mam Beth, Mam Cristy, Ate Gi, Jing and Chime, all present! My partner in crime at work, Tonie is present, and she better be or else! hehe.

My barkada, it's a given, hehe:) Ceejay, who became the official photographer last night and Roanna, who's still crazy and funny as ever. JoKo who's still in town came as well.

Viv was pretty good too, working with my mom the whole time. And she came down from Baguio just to be there last night!! Thanks Vivipot, I love you!

And as requested by yours truly, they didn't get a stripper! And they actually believed me when I said I don't want one! :( hahahaha kidding, I honestly don't want a stripper, I wouldn't have been as comfortable as I was last night. Unless the stripper they'll get for me is a major hottie! Hehehe!

The most fun part last night was when everyone is to guess something about me. Words that we have to guess were...Steve, alcohol, sleeping, bags, shoes, Mango (the brand not the fruit, haha), ribs, iPod, PAGCOR, driver, blue...hmm I probably missed out a couple of words more. We can only guess the words by asking questions answerable by either yes or no. No actions or anything else from our groupmates! And obviously, my group won!! But not without cheating! hehehe! Hahahahahha! I think everyone enjoyed that part last night!! I thought I was gonna sound hoarse after that!

And the cake!!! I have to wait for my friends to upload the photos so I can show it to you, hahahaha. It was huge!! *wink*
